Sabrina Bonatesta, womenswear fashion designer from Brindisi and from the world.
She graduated in Fashion Design at the Ravensbourne University of London in 2019. The designer debuted at the Graduate Fashion Week with her collection “ME & TE(A)”: a meeting between surreal, sustainable and artisanal. This collection was featured in the 10th edition of Vogue Talents September 2019 recognising Sabrina as one of the UK’s top emerging talents.
Despite her work experiences between London, Paris and Milan, the success of Me & Te(a) prompted the designer to come back home and launch her independent fashion label Be Nina.

Be Nina is a sustainable, artisanal and surreal fashion brand born in Puglia from 2021.
The name itself comes from the designer’s childhood nickname “Binina” . It later became “to be niña” (“little girl” in Spanish) up to the actual “Be Nina”.
Childhood is a primary word during the creative process of the designer who, lost in the Peter Pan syndrome, often draws inspiration from children clothes of other times, memories of her past and from antique toys.
The uniqueness of the brand comes from up-cycling ancient materials of the Apulian tradition such as hand-embroidered doilies, sheets, tablecloths and towels.
Officially debuting in 2019 at the London’s Graduate Fashion Week, Be Nina has already launched 3 womenswear collections. In 2022 the brand had a chance to show the SPRING22 collection at ALTAROMA. After that, it has been selected to showcase the FALL23 collection during MILANO FASHION WEEK as one of the best sustainable fashion brand.
